Who's Vesna?
Our products, thanks to their unique taste and quality, have become popular not only in Pula, but also in Istria and Croatia. One of the foundations of our success is the long-term cooperation with twenty family farms in the Loborika district, our home.
Along with the satisfaction of our customers and guests, the crown of our creations are awards and recognitions at numerous international competitions and shows. Perhaps the most significant was the second place for Pegula cheese at the World Championship Cheese Contest in Wisconsin, USA, a prestigious worldwide cheese competition. Rici, which is our most awarded cheese, was declared the national champion.
In addition to cheeses and dairy products, we also produce internationally awarded extra virgin olive oil “Ča”.
How we started
Vesna Loborika is a family business with more than two decades of experience in the production of cheese and dairy products. Our story begins in 1985, when the daughter of Fuma receives a goat as a gift, which was the basis of the creation of what we have today. Our first product was young goat cheese that we sold door to door.
As the assortment of cheeses became larger and our craft grew, we decided to bring our products closer to everyone, so you can still find us today at the market in Pula, where we will be happy to serve you.
Family around the table
All the members of our family are highly-motivated and committed to our business: Vesna – our mother and the business founder, father Nino, son Tone and daughter Fuma. Each one of us is an essential part of the family business. Collaboration and mutual support are our family’s traits that keep us going and help us overcome any obstacles and are perfectly depicted in our business motto: “Family around the table”.

Encouraged by the wishes of loyal customers and guests, we decided to make our products even more available by opening a bistro-pizzeria in Loborika where you can enjoy a handful of delicious homemade dishes made according to Vesna’s traditional recipe, the ingredients of which are our cheeses, dairy products and oil.
